Flat Sarnoff and I: On our way to the Museum of Broadcast Communications

Flat Sarnoff wanted to take a selfie so we decided that a great spot was by the Newton N. Minow Way street sign on 42 S Dearborn.  Minnow is most famously known for his speech on how the TV industry was a “vast wasteland”.   Fun fact: the ship from Gilligan’s Island ‘S.S. Minow’ was named after him because of that speech.

Here we are at the MBC, this is right inside by the entrance it’s a tree of technology.  All parts seemed to be working, Flat Sarnoff and I watched the small segment that’s on that screen there.  The workers were very nice there, and they had a Svengoolie Exhibit, I love that show I use to watch it all the time with my brothers when I was younger.  We also enjoyed Bozo’s Circus segment, they had the costumes of the characters.
