First place Philo Farnsworth & I went to was the Billy Goat Tavern. We did about three laps until I realized it was underneath on the lower level. This was seen on a set during SNL as Belushi and Ackroyd created a parody of it.

This time both Mr. Farnsworth and Sarnoff joined me. Next place we went to was the Nielsen Building, this was interesting because it was right next to campus. I never realized how close it was.

It was getting quite cold and rainy so we wandered off to Newton Minow Way, it was a bit tricky to find but I got the perfect shot! The famous Newton Minow, famous for clearing the path for communications satellites, paving the way.

Then we went to the other side of town over to Wrightwood Ave to the famous Family Matters House. It has beautiful architecture and it was very cool seeing it in person! Interesting fact that the actual original house was torn down, but it was still interesting to see this one.

Ahh iconic. This was by far the coolest house! Hugh Hefner's Chicago Mansion! Seeing it in person was so cool, there were tons of cameras and maintenance employees inside. RIP Hugh.

Just a block or so down the street we ran into the house from Webster. The neighborhood was absolutely beautiful, they say Gold Coast is the nicest area in Chicago. I have never seen the show but since coming to this site, I have started watching it and I see what the hype is all about.

Finally to conclude the night, Mr. Sarnoff and I wandered over to the BlackStone hotel right on Michigan Avenue. The hotel looks beautiful elegant and chic. It used to be the old SunTimes building, so it was unique seeing it in person.
